A Fun Ride at 2:00pm utilizing Boulder Junction’s paved bike trail system. Monthly rides take place on the third Thursday of the month in July thru October. The rides will last approximately one to two hours and riders should plan to meet at the trailhead parking lot. The trailhead is located off of Highway M just south of downtown Boulder Junction by the Chamber of Commerce’s visitor information office. The Tall Pines Pedalers plan to have lunch or dinner at a local dining establishment following the ride. Helmets are required. Please bring water with you. Wheels in the Woods The AV-W Parent Group will be hosting its first annual Century ride in Vilas County. The tour offers routes of 100 miles, 65 miles, and 15 miles plus a 5 mile ride/roll through fabulously scenic paved roads in the towns of Arbor Vitae, Boulder Junction, Sayner, Star Lake, St. Germain and Presque Isle. Refreshments and rest stops will be provided. A spaghetti dinner is offered the evening before the event, breakfast the day of, and a grill upon return.
