Boulder Junction Public Library Getting Started with Libby- The Library Reading App
January 31 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
The Boulder Junction Public Library will be offering a Getting Started with Libby class on Wednesday, January 31 from 10:30am to 12pm. The class will be held in the Boulder Junction Community Center in the Boulder Lake Room. The Library is offering this class to demonstrate how to get started with borrowing ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines through the Libby app. This free class is for both new and experienced users.
Some of the topics covered in the class will include finding our library and signing in; navigating in the app; browsing and searching for titles; borrowing titles and placing holds; managing notifications; plus, time for questions and answers.
As people increasingly read and listen to books on their smartphone or tablet, they’re discovering one of the best resources is their local public library. Boulder Junction residents can access a wide selection of popular digital ebooks and audiobooks free from the Boulder Junction Public Library. With a library card, members of the community can borrow from the digital collection by downloading Libby, the award-winning reading app from OverDrive, or visiting https://www.overdrive.com/
Participation is free, but registration is required to ensure we have enough space and materials. To register for the class, please call the library at 715-385-2050.
