Boulder Junction’s 14th Annual Frozen Tozen

Boulder Junction’s 14th Annual Boulder Junction Frozen Tozen, held on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, was a great event thanks to the support of all our sponsors, donators, volunteers and participants. The Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce is very grateful to all who were involved in making this a successful fundraising event, generating nearly $1600 for the Boulder Junction Area Boat Landing Improvement Fund.
Despite the extreme cold temperatures on tournament day, 26 anglers braved the elements and participated in the tournament on Boulder Lake. The following awards were presented at the awards ceremony on the boat landing immediately following the tournament along with the cash raffle drawing winners.
Congratulations to the following winners:
Frozen Tozen Award with $300 cash payout for the largest fish of the day: Delwyn Westeen of Ironwood, Michigan with his 23.25” Northern Pike.
1st Place Award with $100 cash payout for most accumulated inches: Delwyn Westeen of Ironwood Michigan with 246.48 inches caught.
Junior Award with $100 cash payout for most accumulated inches: Evan Schuenemann of Boulder Junction, Wisconsin with 124.13 inches caught.
Team Award with $100 cash payout to team with most accumulated inches: Team Jig-R-Nots with 246.48 inches caught. Team anglers: Nathan Westeen and Delwyn Westeen.
Our cash raffle winners were: Grand prize $500 winner was Mary Kimmerling of Conover, WI. $250 raffle winner, Steve and Laurie Hoelzel of Boulder Junction, WI. $100 winner Jenna Sjolholm of St. Germain, WI. Two $50 cash winners, Misty Knox of Boulder Junction, WI. & John Ladwig of Burnsville, MN. Two $25 winners, Jerry Geiger of Boulder Junction, WI & Billy Jo Cirese of Conover, WI.
