What to try: Warm up with a grilled panini sandwich (try the Mayflower, which has turkey, cranberries, bacon, sautéed onions and cheese spread) or a handmade pizza (also offered in a take-and-bake option).

George’s Pub

A true Northwoods classic, the building that houses George’s Pub has been home to local favorites Tippy’s, George’s Steakhouse, JJ’s and Junction Tap. The restaurant returned to the original George’s name in 2017, and serves lunch and dinner every day on Main Street in the heart of Boulder Junction.

What to try: It’s not a trip to Boulder Junction without a Friday night fish fry—don’t miss George’s tasty fried perch, bluegill and walleye.

Granary Family Restaurant

The Granary Family Restaurant is open year-round for breakfast and lunch, offering Boulder Junction visitors a filling start to their fall explorations. Bring the whole gang, whether you’re looking for a blended smoothie to start your day or a hearty breakfast of steak and eggs.

What to try: Treat yourself to a morning pick-me-up with Granary’s mocha frappe.
