Whether you’re looking for live music to dance along to or want to celebrate at ourMusky Jamboree, we’ve got something to put on your calendar.
Music on Main Street – All summer long
Get moving every Wednesday with this free concert series held outside at Peeple’s Park in downtown Boulder Junction. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on—or get up and dance on the lawn—while listening to great music from across all genres, from polka to rock n’ roll classics to country.
Concerts run from 7 to 9 pm every Wednesday from June 19 to August 7. In the case of inclement weather, performances will take place inside the Boulder Junction Community Center.
Star Spangled Jubilee – July 4
Celebrate Independence Day in Boulder Junction with a parade down Main Street beginning at noon. This year’s theme is “Happy Trails.”
The festivities end with a fireworks display at 10 pm at the Boulder Junction Airport.
Musky Jamboree – August 9-11
We’re not the Musky Capital of the World® for nothing—visit Boulder Junction for the 63rd annual Musky Jamboree on August 9-11 as we honor the one and only Esox masquinogy (that’s the musky’s Latin name, FYI).
Musky Jamboree offers a full weekend of fun events. Here are just a few highlights:
- Friday, August 9: 8:30am-noon, DNR Learn to Fish Musky Workshop; 7-10pm, Boulder Junction Street Party with live music by Hip Pocket
- Saturday, August 10: 11am-3pm, Boulder Junction Historical Society History Day; 3-6pm, Best Fish Fry Cook-Off; 4-10:30 pm, Summer Music Series charity event at Aqualand Ale House
- Sunday, August 11: 7:30 am, 40th annual Musky Fun Run; 9am-3pm, 28th annual Musky Jamboree Car Show; 9am-4pm, Arts & Crafts Fair featuring 150+ artisans
