The Boulder Junction Economic Development/Connect Communities Committee invites business owners, employees, or anyone interested in expanding their business knowledge to attend the Build Your Boulder Business: Lunch & Learn Series to be held on Wednesdays once a month in January, February and March beginning at 12noon.
Wednesday, January 16 – Website Development and Best Practices: Since 1998, in one form or another, Scott Bertz at Web Work Life has been developing and designing websites. Times have changed since those early days and the focus is now on the website user and achieving your business goals. Combining sound marketing practices with the latest internet technologies, Scott develops websites that meet usability standards while producing real world results.
Website usability is about designing your website in such a way that website users can find what they’re looking for quickly and efficiently. At the heart of a successful website is a great design where technology enhances the user experience. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops for peer to peer web review.
