Campanile Chorus & Lakeland Community Band Announce Spring Concert

Campanile Center for the Arts will present the annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 5th, at 1:00pm in the Campanile Auditorium. This year’s concert will feature the Campanile Chorus, Bella Voce, and the Lakeland Community Band.
The Campanile Chorus under the direction of Tom Schroeter will be performing a program of familiar folk and spiritual songs. Selections will include “Ezekiel Saw the Wheel, “Steal Away,” “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho,” among others.
Director Mike Schultz will conducts the Lakeland Community Band. Selections by the Band include “Hoedown, “Jitterbug,” and “My Favorite Things.”
As a finale,, the Chorus and Band will join forces to perform “The Battle Hymn” from The Man of La Mancha.
Each group is comprised of community members whose love of music brings them together to present these concerts free to the public. Donations are welcome and the suggested minimum donation is $7. Following the concert, a small reception will be held to celebrate the friendship and fellowship of this festive holiday season.
