Boulder Junction Public Library Virtual Learning: Snowy Owls With Annie McDonnell from the North Lakeland Discovery Center

Snowy owls are captivating birds and occasional visitors to the Northwoods. Join Naturalist Annie from the North Lakeland Discovery Center for an engaging discussion on the adaptations and traits that make them a unique species and some of the most recent studies tracking their phenomenal travels.

Annie McDonnell is the Naturalist & Volunteer Coordinator at North Lakeland Discovery Center. With a degree in Wildlife Ecology, Annie spent a number of years researching grassland songbirds, waterfowl, and owls throughout Montana, Idaho, and North Dakota, prior to returning to the Midwest. She has been with the Discovery Center for 4 years and enjoys working with the Northwoods communities.

This program is open to everyone. Please register by emailing [email protected]. After registration, a link will be sent to view online content for the program anytime between June 23 and July 7.
