Digital Art with McCall

Learn the exciting possibilities of digital art! Thanks to generous donations, LOLA Arts has purchased 6 ipads and ipencils, and can now offer affordable digital art classes. Join instructor McCall, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at LOLA, and learn how to use the versatile drawing app Procreate*. No experience necessary, beginners welcome! Students will create digital Christmas ornaments, while learning how to use tools, brushes, layers, clipping masks, and more. Students will be able to share/save their digital file and go home with some printed 4×6” copies as well.
*Procreate is a $10, one time purchase app that we already have on the ipads, but if you really like it, it is easily downloaded on to any tablet/phone/computer at home and doesn’t need an ipencil to use.
Use of iPads/pencils are just during class time allotted, no rentals outside of class will be permitted.
About the instructor: McCall Hocking was a former art teacher turned restaurant manager turned feral stay-at-home-mom turned marketing coordinator for LOLA. She has also done design work for bands and illustrated children’s books.
Cost is $20/participant. Registration deadline is December 6th.
