Discover on Demand: Legends of the Great Lakes

Discover on Demand is an environmental education series provided by the North Lakeland Discovery Center program staff. On the first of every month through May we will post a pre-recorded lecture on a different environmental topic relevant to the Northwoods. The programs are around an hour long and are great for teens and adults. 

Did you know that there are over 700 shipwrecks in the Great Lakes in Wisconsin?  Discover some of these great legends and mysteries as we explore shipwrecks in the Great Lakes.

Register any time and you will receive an email from Jamie on January 1st before 10:00 a.m. with the link to view the program.  You will have access to, and be able to view the program as many times as you would like until January 8th.

In addition to our free mini-series, Discover at Home we are happy to say we are continuing our very popular series- Discover on Demand!  These programs are entirely online, hour-long lectures from program staff. Each hour-long program is a video of a staff member discussing a topic in detail – much like our Knowledge at Noon, Wonders of Wildlife, and Nibbles and Knowledge programs!

This on demand series is a “name your price” basis. There are various levels of payment options ranging from $5 to $100.
