Ditch the Dish: Streaming Media 101
January 19 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free
Want to learn how to cut the cable and start streaming your media? Curious about how to make all those streaming services work for you? The Boulder Junction Public Library will host this free class. The class will be held in-person at the Boulder Junction Community Center with masks required. There is also an option to join the presentation in a live Zoom meeting. Call or email the library for the Zoom link. The program will also be recorded and posted to the library’s YouTube channel after the presentation.
Librarian, and tech enthusiast, Teresa Schmidt will present an introduction to streaming video and other media. You’ll learn about some of the many services out there – Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Hulu, Sling TV, DirecTV Stream, and more – and the equipment you’ll need to watch your favorite movies, shows, and live events on your TV. You’ll also get tips on how to find the media you want in the age of streaming.
This class is free and open to all. Bring your questions!
Visit the Boulder Junction Library’s website for more information on this and other programs at the Boulder Junction Public Library or call the library at 715-385-2050.
