Frozen Tozen

Interested in giving fishing a try? Here’s your chance to do it for free! Anglers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to explore the outdoors during Wisconsin’s Free Fishing Weekend. You can fish almost anywhere in Wisconsin without a license or trout stamp January 16 and 17, 2021. This includes all inland waters and Wisconsin’s side of the Great Lakes and Mississippi River. Other fishing rules apply, such as limits on the number and size of fish you can keep and any seasons when you must release certain fish species.

For more information, go to dnr.wi.gov and search for “Free Fishing Weekend.” This is a great way to introduce anglers to ice fishing!
