Movie Matinee: Moneyball

The Boulder Junction Public Library invites you to attend Movie Matinees this winter. Movies will be shown on select Tuesdays at 3 pm with discussion to follow. All movies are FREE to the public and will be shown on the big screen in the Boulder Lake meeting room in the Boulder Junction Community Center. Complimentary fresh-popped popcorn from Mad Dog Jakes and lemonade will be served.
Movie Matinee for Tuesday, January 31 is the 2011 sports drama, Moneyball. Baseball general manager Billy Beane reinvents the Oakland A’s by employing unorthodox scouting methods that initially make him a laughingstock in the major leagues. Starring Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Wright, and Chris Pratt. Directed by Bennett Miller. The movie is rated PG-13 and is 133 minutes in length.
