Artist Bio: Karl has been composing Folk/Rock/Americana songs for upwards of 38 years. In 2000 Sky formed a beneficial relationship with Nashville legend Scotty Turner
(Songwriter/Lead guitarist for Tommy Sands & The Raiders/Executive Producer of Liberty/Imperial Records – Writer/Producer for A&M Records) Mr. Turner worked with such artists as Nilsson, Roy Clark, Slim Whitman, Tammy Wynette and Mac Davis. Scotty’s mentorship enabled Karl to become a better writer..
Scotty Turner signed Sky’s “Warm Kentucky Wind” as well his first album release, “Guess It’s Time” to Captain Kidd Music/BMI.
Karl’s music style resembles singer/songwriters of the early seventies as well as current Americana and Folk/Rock
