March 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

The Northern Waters Genealogical Society invites you to their next meeting on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 2-3 pm, at the Boulder Junction Community Center, 5392 Park Street. A business meeting will follow from 3-4 pm. There will also be an option to join the meeting via Zoom. Please call Carol Williams at 715-686-7339 for meeting information and to receive directions for the Zoom link.

This month’s program is “Getting Ready for the Release of the 1950 Census” with Presenter, Michael John Neill (via pre-recorded webinar). Participants in the program will learn about tools to use in searching the 1950 census as soon as it is released to the public in April. Michael John Neill has been an active genealogical researcher since the early 1980s and has researched his or his children’s families in most states east of the Mississippi River and several European countries. He has lectured nationally on a wide variety of genealogical topics, given day-long seminars, and regularly leads research trips to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and the Allen County Public Library in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

This program is free and open to the public. All persons interested in genealogy and family history, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to attend. For more information, please call 715-686-7339.

This meeting will follow the latest Covid-19 safety protocols for the Library and Community Center. For further details on Covid protocols, please visit the Boulder Junction Public Library website at https://www.boulderjunctionlibrary.org/.
