Outdoor Movie Night
June 27 @ 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm
The library invites you to attend Outdoor Movie Nights this summer. All family-friendly movies are FREE to the public and will be shown on a big screen in the grassy field behind the Boulder Junction Community Center. Seating will not be provided; please bring blankets or chairs. Free popcorn and lemonade will be provided, but outside snacks and refreshments are also allowed. Bug spray is advised.
The Tuesday, June 27 movie will be Clifford the Big Red Dog. When Emily discovers her little red puppy named Clifford has grown ten feet overnight, she turns to her eccentric Uncle Casey for help. But when a mad scientist tries to capture the larger-than-life playful pup, it takes the entire neighborhood to hide Clifford as they race across the city. Get ready for the incredible, laugh-out-loud comedy adventure that is big fun for the entire family! Based on the popular children’s book series by author Norman Bridwell. Starring Darby Camp, Jack Whitehall, Izaac Wang, John Cleese, and Sienna Guillory. Directed by Walt Becker. The movie is rated PG and runtime is 97 minutes.
Outdoor movies are weather dependent. If the move must be canceled due to rain, it will be posted on the library’s Facebook page and website. Due to using shared equipment on a tight schedule, there will only be one alternate rain date if canceled due to poor weather. Admission, popcorn, and lemonade are free. Rain date is June 29.
Not all movies will be appropriate for young children, please refer to movie ratings or read movie reviews. For questions and further information, please call the library at 715-385-2050 or email [email protected].
