Sugar Bean

The Campanile Center is proud to announce a brand new program to grace the stage, led by Vicki Fleming. The Campanile Players will present Sugar Bean Sisters, featuring talented LUHS Alumni Sarah, Poisson, Grace Dorsey, Zoey Davis Jahnke, Harrison Wheeler, and Ashley Butkus.

In this exuberantly wacky comedy, the Nettle sisters are determined to escape spinsterhood and get out of their ramshackle swamp dwelling in Sugar Bean, Florida—Willie Mae by going to Salt Lake and finding a good Mormon husband and Faye by hopping on the spaceship when the “space people” return for another visit. But when a strange bird-like woman suddenly appears out of the swampy darkness, a chain of extraordinary events is set in motion and lies begin to unravel as the Sugar Bean Sisters hatch a diabolical plot to ensure the space people’s return.

This performance is for mature audiences only.
