Van Vliet Old Growth Snowshoe

The Van Vliet Hemlocks are a beautiful example of an old-growth forest in the Northwoods. Join a naturalist and learn about this unique habitat and some interesting winter animal adaptations during this fun snowshoe. This 2-ish mile snowshoe is moderately strenuous due to the rolling terrain of the area.
Registered participants should meet at the East Van Vliet Trailhead in Presque Isle at 1:00 pm. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by 2/2. Saturday 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. This event is free and is sponsored by the Friends of Van Vliet Hemlocks.
