Winter Wellness Series- Fitness: It’s Not that Hard!

Looking for ways to stick to your New Year’s Resolutions? The Boulder Junction Public Library is offering a series of FREE informational presentations to help patrons learn ways to support their health and wellness this winter -and all year long. Join us on Tuesday, January 28 from 2:30-3:30pm for “Fitness: It’s Not that Hard!” with Suzi Hammer, Manitowish Waters Athletic Club (MAC) Supervisor and Fitness Instructor.
Join Suzi for this presentation where you will discover your fitness level and learn ways to feel and look better! Learn the key components of maintaining your health and turn your daily activities into a fun fitness journey. Afterwards, learn what opportunities are available at the MAC and how easy it is to get started.
As the Manager of the MAC, Suzi makes it a daily practice to oversee the services and opportunities available to their members. The focus of their fitness center is to provide a quality experience to help members “enjoy” their fitness journey and get the results they are looking for.
As a Personal Trainer, Suzi’s goal is to integrate her knowledge as a wellness specialist in designing an individualized, progressive program of cardiovascular, mobility, core, and flexibility exercises for her clients based on their fitness goals. She also strives to empower others to fully embrace the habit of regular exercise and healthy eating and attain the everlasting benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
Suzi’s areas of expertise are: ERYT-500 Yoga Instructor, Ace Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Arthritis and Chronic Pain Therapy Specialist.
Suzi has owned and managed three gyms in North Carolina for the past 15 years and relocated to the Northwoods to her family cabin three years ago. She has a passion for fitness and health and helping others improve the quality of their lives.
