Get active at these 2020 endurance races

Feeling sluggish to start the new year? Head to Boulder Junction and get moving! Registration is open for two great endurance races – the third annual Forest Frenzy Winter Triathlon (February 15) and the sixth annual White Deer Triathlon (May 16). Space is limited, so act fast!
Forest Frenzy Winter Triathlon
One of only a few winter triathlons in the state of Wisconsin, the Forest Frenzy Winter Triathlon returns to Boulder Junction for its third year on Saturday, February 15.
The race takes participants through snow-covered woods and beautiful Northwoods scenery as they tackle a 7.5-kilometer cross-country ski course, a 5-kilometer snowshoe course and a 7.5-kilometer fat tire bike course. The Forest Frenzy is held at the historic Camp Manito-wish YMCA on Boulder Lake.
Registration is now open to individuals and three-person relay teams, but act quickly, as registration is limited to 100 athletes. Find more information and sign up for the race here.
White Deer Triathlon
This fun triathlon will once again traverse the woods, roads and lakes of Boulder Junction come spring.
The White Deer Triathlon, which will celebrate its sixth year on Saturday, May 16, consists of a 3-kilometer canoe/kayak/stand-up paddleboard course, a 22-kilometer bike ride and a 6-kilometer run. The race is open to individuals, two-person teams and three-person relay teams.

If you’d rather get fit on your own in 2020, you’ll find outdoor adventurers aplenty in and around Boulder Junction. Winter brings great opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and in the warmer months, Boulder Junction is known statewide for its outstanding biking options.
