There’s a place in Boulder Junction where the public is welcome to practice target and skeet shooting.

Boulder Junction Shooting Range offers trap, skeet, rifle, pistol and archery. The range is located east of the Trout Lake Forestry Headquarters on Nebish Lake Road. It features three trap fields and two skeet fields. It’s a friendly facility and it’s operated by the state DNR and the Town of Boulder Junction. Learn more.

Boulder Junction Shooting Range

In conjunction with the State of Wisconsin, the Department of Natural Resources and the Town of Boulder Junction, the Boulder Junction Shooting Range is open to the public with a rifle & pistol shelter and 300-yard range. The trap and skeet area, equipped with voice pulls, is comprised of 3 trap fields & 2 skeet fields. A new Five- Stand field has been added to one of the skeet fields. Enjoy the view from a spacious club house.
