Trail Report — January 27, 2025
After a weekend of heavy use and nuisance snowfall, both the rink and the Glide are now in excellent condition. This morning, our crew cleared remaining snow and applied a fresh layer of ice. Due to anticipated snow on Tuesday, our maintenance crews will focus on minimizing snow accumulation on the ice surfaces rather than making and grooming new ice. Maintenance activities will be suspended on Thursday, with operations resuming Friday morning. Despite the predicted snow and warm temperatures ranging from the high 30s to low 40s, skating conditions should remain very good throughout this week and into the weekend.
Safety Notes:
- Please exercise caution in the parking lot and walking areas around the pavilion and warming hut. These areas are now very icy, so we strongly recommend wearing ice cleats for added safety.
- As always, we encourage all skaters to wear helmets. Remember, the ice is slippery, and safety is our top priority.
