Hidden Moose of Wisconsin presentation at the Boulder Junction Library

Have you ever wondered how an animal as large as a moose can live in Wisconsin and almost never be seen? Are these moose simply passing through, or do they truly call the state home? Presented by Amanda Griggs, researcher and founder of Hidden Moose of Wisconsin.

In this presentation, we will look at photos, videos, antlers, and other field evidence while exploring what it really takes to study elusive wildlife. Along the way, we will dig into the science behind determining whether moose are visitors or residents, and discover the surprising ways these animals live right under our noses.

Come with questions and leave with stories, and perhaps a new appreciation for Wisconsin’s hidden moose.
