Cross-country trail spotlight: Lumberjack Trails

This multi-use trail (cross country ski, snowshoe and fat bike), runs through tall pine forests and expansive wetlands. Bald eagles are often seen soaring over the Manitowish River and White Sand Creek. The Lumberjack Trail also connects with the Escanaba-Pallette Lake Hiking Trail. Pets allowed when there is no snow.
Length: 4.6 and 12.5 miles loops
Location: From Boulder Junction, continue east on Old Hwy K approximately 1 mile to Concora Road where you will find the parking area. Access is also available at the trailhead off Hwy K, by following Hwy M south about 2 miles to Hwy K and turning east.
