Discovery Center– Nordic Ski Ecology Trip: Winter Wildlife with Jenna

Join Naturalist Jenna on an interpretive ski on the Discovery Center trails. We will look for animal tracks and discuss the physical & behavioral adaptations that enable wildlife to survive the harsh Northwoods winters. Though the trails we will be traversing include easy, flat terrain, we will ski approximately 5 miles for this segment. Please dress accordingly and bring your own classic skis and boots. If you do not have your own skis, you may rent skis and boots from local River’s Edge Outfitters. They are offering a discounted rate for attendees of this event only
