LOLA Arts– Sourdough Wreath or Tree

For this class we will be learning how to make a sourdough bread wreath OR tree pull apart just in time for Christmas! You will have the opportunity to learn how to make, shape, and bake the pull apart and get to take one home for you to bake and enjoy!
Through hands-on practice and demonstrations, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain confidence in making sourdough bread.
Additionally, you will take home an active sourdough starter and dough that will be used to bake your own pull apart bread to either bake and freeze for Christmas or bake and enjoy now! Due to time constraints we will not be baking anyone’s in class only the one we use to demonstrate the shaping so we can all try it.
Please bring the following items to class:
- A JAR to take home your starter in! A glass mason jar is easy, but anything clean with a lid. Check out this link here.
- A large rimmed cookie sheet, pizza stone, cast iron skillet, or baking steel. Something to take home your formed turkey sourdough on, minimum size 12”..a large circular pizza pan works too!
- If you would like to pay with cash or check, please call LOLA Arts at (715) 547-3950 to reserve your spot in class.
- Refund Policy – No refunds will be given after the registration deadline. Classes will only be canceled due to weather if Northland Pines School district cancels.
