Smartphone Photography class

October 17, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

The Boulder Junction Public Library will be offering a Smartphone Photography Class on Tuesday, October 17 from 10:00am to 12:30 pm. Participation is free, but registration is required, and class size is limited to 10 people. The class will be held in the Boulder Junction Community Center.

This class taught by Howard Honig is dedicated to helping you with the basics of smartphone photography – how to take a great shot on your phone, which accessories are available, how to share and print your images and keep them safe. Basic photographic skills are a plus, but not necessary for this class.

The class will be geared toward iPhones and Samsung phones. Participants should bring their smartphone to the class for hands on instruction.

Howard Honig is a second-generation photographer and has previously taught classes at the Campanile in Minocqua. He studied at Columbia College in Chicago and spent several years working on the City of Chicago press staff. His duties involved covering Mayors Michael and Jane Byrne and other political figures. He specialized in photojournalism and product photography, weddings and events.

Participation is free, but registration is required, and class size is limited to 10 people. To questions or to register for the class, please call the library at 715-385-2050.
