Fall is an ideal time to be out on the greens — the air is fresh, the courses are in great shape and the scenery is unforgettable.

You’ll find outstanding golfing just 10 miles from the heart of Boulder Junction. Founded in 1924, Trout Lake Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in the Northwoods. Generations of golfers have returned to this 18-hole championship course that provides fun for golfers of all skill levels. Check out the historic clubhouse, a log home built in the 1880s. Take time to relax on the screened porch, which overlooks the 18th fairway, or find a warm spot near the fire while you enjoy a beverage. This is relaxing Northwoods golfing at its best.

While the course has a rich history, it offers all the modern amenities. The club has 20 new carts and a high-quality practice facility that includes a driving range and a 7,000-square-foot putting/chipping green.
