North Creek Loop Bike Trail Committee

Overview:

The North Creek Loop Trail Committee’s mission is to expand the Boulder Junction portion of the Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail along Hwy H from Hwy K to North Creek Rd. This 3.3 mile expansion will enhance the existing trail system in addition to providing a scenic & safe connection. Both residents & visitors will benefit from this project. Donations are needed to help complete the loop.

Update from 9/29/23:
Highways H and K to Ritzke Trail Road Now Open
Phase 1 and 1.5 of the project which runs from the intersection of Highways H and K to Ritzke Trail Road was finished in September and that section of the trail is open. Phase 2 will continue the trail from Ritzke Trail Road to North Creek Road. Trail users will then be able to continue down North Creek Road to access the existing bike trail along Highway M connecting back to Boulder Junction and completing the 14-mile loop.
