Start your day Northwoods exploration with a pick-me-up at Dixie’s Coffee House where you’ll find fresh-brewed coffee, espresso and tea, as well as baked goods and breakfast and lunch items.
The Granary Family Restaurant, located on Park Street in downtown Boulder Junction, is open year-round for breakfast and lunch.
Head further north into Vilas County to find the Forest Lake Country Store, which offers sandwiches, salads, burgers and pizza. Plus, Mom and Dad can browse the store’s selection of 150 craft beers and nearly 200 boutique wines.
When summer hits, head to Mad Dog Jake’s in downtown Boulder Junction for burgers, hot dogs, French fries and more—and don’t forget a scoop of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream for dessert!
Looking for fine dining? Head downtown to The Guide’s Inn, home to delicious dishes including veal, hand-cut steaks, pasta and pan-fried walleye.
