Play Boulder Junction

Boulder Junction Parks and Recreation is responsible for the upkeep of our area parks which include: Winter Park, Nichols Lake Beach & Picnic Area, and The Boulder Junction Community Sports & Recreation Area.

 

 

Winter Park 

Located on Old Hwy K a quarter mile east of Lakewood Market. In the winter this park offers various activities including, skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. In the spring, summer, and fall the park can be used for hiking, dog walking, and picnic’s. Additionally, they offer free use of equipment, a fire pit, warming hut, and outdoor lodge with picnic tables. There is an on-site bathroom.

 

 

 

Nichols Lake Beach & Picnic Area

Located just west of town off of County Hwy H. Nichols Lake is maintained by the Town of Boulder Junction and offers a small swimming beach with full access to the lake, a volleyball court, and a picnic area. This park is a perfect spot for a beach day with the family.

 

 

Boulder Junction Sports & Recreation Area

You won’t have to go far to find a full day of fun! Located off of County Hwy M just behind the Chamber of Commerce. The sports and recreation area is home to our brand new playground, the baseball field, a skate park, tennis/pickleball courts, a basketball court, and direct access to the HOV paved bike trail. There are restrooms on site with a picnic pavilion and various other benches throughout the park.
