Boulder Junction Public Library: Needle Felted Coaster Class with Darcy Lanz-Sage
March 19 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
The Boulder Junction Public Library will be offering a second Needle Felted Coaster Class on Tuesday, March 19 from 10am to 12:30pm. Participation is free, but registration is required, and class size is limited to 15 people. The class will be held in the Boulder Junction Community Center Dairymen’s Meeting Room.
Join local artist and crafter, Darcy Lanz-Sage for this needle felted coaster class. Needle felting is the process of repeatedly poking wool fluff with special needles to create felt and felted objects. Make your own set of 4 coasters: either round or square, on pre-felted wool. Darcy has a wide array of fibers that you will be able to create designs with using felting needles. Machine or hand stitching can also be used, if desired, for embellishment. All tools and materials provided. If participants sew and have a sewing machine, they can bring it along.
To register call the Library at 715-385-2050.
