Discovery Center– Van Vliet Old Growth Forest Snowshoe

The Van Vliet Hemlocks are a beautiful example of an old-growth forest in the Northwoods.  Join a naturalist and learn about this unique habitat and some interesting winter animal adaptations during this fun snowshoe.  This 2-ish mile snowshoe is moderately strenuous due to the rolling terrain of the area.  There is no charge for this program.

When: February 3, 2024 1-3pm

Where: Van Vliet East side Trails — registrants will be emailed information about where to meet–

Admission: Free unless you need to rent snowshoes– $5 for rental. *Register by 2/1/24*
