LOLA Arts– Sourdough Bread

Want to learn how to make easy, fun, good-for-you bread? Join local bread maker, Cathy Lowery, in this class that will demystify the art of sourdough bread making and give you the confidence and tools to make your own at home. Each student will bake a loaf of sourdough during class, prepare a starter to take home, learn how to keep it going, and take home a bowl of rising sourdough bread dough to shape and bake at home.

Supplies needed:

• An apron
• Large spoon
• Whisk
• Clean paper bag to put loaf of bread in
• 3-4 quart size glass bowl
