Artist Bio: Amanda Anderson is a California-born, now local musician who relocated to Wisconsin about 5 years ago. As you can imagine, the winter weather was quite a shock at first! Yet it has been the times of cold and darkness in the Northwoods that have brought depth to her music. Prior to her move, Amanda served as a worship leader in various churches on the west coast. Now, she is discovering the art of songwriting, as well as playing cover songs with her own creative touch, as avenues of self-expression and connection with others. With keyboard as her main instrument, Amanda’s musical genre falls somewhere between soft pop and indie folk, performing anything from “Landslide” by Stevie Nicks to “I Will Survive” by Glory Gaynor. Her music is soothing and melodic — perfect for unwinding after a long day! But what sets her apart is her powerful voice, which adds a unique dimension to her music. Amanda has a genuine passion for music and pours her heart and soul into every note and every word. Her favorite part about performing is connection with others and she always looks forward to sharing her music with you!
