Great Snowshoeing Route: Lumberjack Trail

Snowshoe up to twelve miles of trails running through tall pine forests and expansive wetlands. Otters are often seen swimming in White Sand Creek during the winter months, signs of beavers’ handiwork can also be found nearby. In many of the alder and maple stands varieties of birds can be found. Be sure to bring your binoculars!
Length: 2.94-mile (green trail), 4.57-mile (blue trail) and 5.86-mile (red trail)
Location: From Boulder Junction, continue east on Old Hwy K approximately 1 mile to Concora Road where you will find one parking area. Access to the red trail is also available at the trailhead off Hwy K, by following Hwy M south about 2 miles to Hwy K and turning east.
