Great Snowshoeing Route: Star Lake Nature Trail System

December 16, 2024

Situated on a picturesque peninsula reaching into Star Lake, this historic trail traces its roots back to the early 1900s when it served as a pasture for horses used to haul logs to the nearby Star Lake Mill. Notably, it is also the site of Wisconsin’s first tree plantings. Along the way, visitors can enjoy varied topography and breathtaking views of Star Lake.

No pets please.
