Boulder Junction Public Library Beginner Level Leather Jewelry Class
February 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Boulder Junction Public Library will be offering a Beginner-Level Leather Jewelry Class on Saturday, February 17 from 10am to 12pm. Participation is free, but registration is required, and class size is limited to 15 people. The class will be held in the Boulder Junction Community Center.
Join Boulder Junction locals Dina & Jenna in this easy, beginner-level leather jewelry class featuring colorful, scrap leather pieces and accent beads. Using jump rings participants will create a set of earrings or a pendant, or both – time-permitting.
Tools and supplies will be provided, and basic techniques will be covered as part of the class. Please note, some dexterous movement of the hands is necessary for this craft.
Jenna Richardson is a lover of geology and rocks. She creates wearable art by wire-weaving stones and crystals found around the globe. Jenna has been creating jewelry for the past 12 years. She enjoys utilizing beads in her work and does beading for fun as a relaxing pastime.
Dina Casso has been a recreational crafter for over 20 years with a focus on jewelry and knitting. She often incorporates natural gemstones into her jewelry work and believes in the holistic and healing properties that they provide. From earrings to wrap bracelets, and everything in between, she looks forward to sharing her love for jewelry making with workshop participants.
Participation is free, but registration is required, and class size is limited to 15 people. To register for the class, please call the library at 715-385-2050.
