Find some of northern Wisconsin’s best events in Boulder Junction this summer

Summer is the perfect time to visit Boulder Junction in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, whether you’re enjoying the area’s trails or exploring the area’s numerous lakes. But Boulder Junction also offers a bevy of exciting events in the summer months—here’s a look at a few you should put on your calendar.

Boulder Junction Block Party

Held every Wednesday from June through mid-August, the Boulder Junction Block Party brings a night’s worth of fun events to downtown Boulder Junction, including live concerts with the Music on Main concert series, free presentations from local fishing guides, a weekly classic car show, and great things to eat and drink.

Lions Club Craft & Flea Market

Another fun weekly event is the Boulder Junction Lions Club’s weekly Summer Craft & Flea Market, a large outdoor market that takes place from 8am to 2pm every Tuesday from June through August at the Boulder Junction Community Center, 5836 Park St.

Star Spangled Jubilee

Join the fun on the Fourth of July at this annual Northwoods celebration that includes a parade down Main Street at noon, food, drinks, and live entertainment in downtown Boulder Junction, and an incredible fireworks show at dusk at the Boulder Junction Airport.

Musky Jamboree

Boulder Junction’s signature summer event, Musky Jamboree has entertained visitors to northern Wisconsin for more than 65 years. This three-day event, held every August, kicks off Friday with a street party on Main Street featuring live music. Saturday brings a 5K and 10K fun run and lots of fun activities as part of Boulder Junction Historical Society’s History Day. Sunday caps the weekend with the Musky Jamboree Car Show, an arts & crafts show with more than 100 vendors, children’s activities, and more.
