What makes a vacation in Boulder Junction so special? 

Heidi McCowan | Fiesta on the Lake: I feel like Boulder Junction is a town that makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time a little bit. It’s changed very little from when I was growing up here in the 70’s. I think because there is so much gorgeous nature around, it is the perfect place to be doing water and forest activities but also to shop and dine.

For me personally, and what got me here, is getting away from the hustle and bustle. Being out in nature and trying to put away some of the constants in modern society – phones, work computers, and really trying to disconnect from the big wide world at large, to be present.
