Snowmobile season is in full swing in Boulder Junction, and that means it’s a great time to hit the trails and stop in for dinner and a tasty beverage along the way. Here are a few must stops while on the trails in Boulder Junction.

Headwaters Restaurant & Tavern: Situated on a hill overlooking the Manitowish River, this rustic historic tavern is the largest restaurant in Boulder Junction. Stop by all year long for great food, great service and the fastest Internet in the Northwoods.

Boulder Beer Bar: In the mood for pulled pork, smoked brisket or a made-from-scratch pizza? Stop by the Boulder Beer Bar in downtown Boulder Junction, which is open year-round.

Gooch’s A-1 Bar & Grill: Serving broasted chicken, Friday fish fry & Saturday night steaks. Birthday parties, weddings, reunions & anniversaries. Plenty of ample parking!  Three miles north of downtown on Hwy M. Don’t miss this local hot spot!

The Guides Inn: The Guides Inn, located in downtown Boulder Junction, has been a historic landmark in the Northwoods since the 1920s. Today, you can enjoy some of the finest dining in the Northwoods. Be sure to try their specialty—the pan-fried walleye.

Aqualand Ale House: Aqualand Ale House is a great place to get a world-class beer. You’ll find 20 craft beers on tap as well as an assortment of bottled beer, wine and coffee. Aqualand Ale House also offers pizzas, paninis and appetizers. It’s a great addition to the Northwoods restaurant scene.
