Great Snowshoeing Route: Fallison Lake Nature Trail

Fallison Lake Nature Trail is a popular trail system within Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. The trail system traverses diverse forest communities around Fallison Lake. The trails offer spectacular icy lake views, benches for resting, and the opportunity to see a variety of animal species. The yellow trail features informational signage about natural characteristics (donated/created by North Lakeland Discovery Center).
Length: 0.62-mile (yellow trail), 1.33-miles (green trail), 2.07-miles (blue trail), and 2.34-miles (red trail)
Location: From Boulder Junction, continue south on County Hwy M approximately 9 miles. Turn east on Hwy N. Trailhead is found across from Crystal Lake Campground on Hwy N.
