We’ve also got a full calendar of fun events, including annual celebrations that bring visitors back to Boulder Junction year after year. Here’s a closer look at some of our signature events.

Spring and Summer events 2025

White Deer Triathlon, May 
Paddle, Bike, and Run in this fun recreational triathlon that brings the spirit of the Northwoods alive. Learn more about White Deer Triathlon here.

Town Wide Garage Sale, May
Residents and businesses throughout Boulder Junction participate in this fun community event held every Memorial Day weekend. Find hidden treasures at sales in downtown Boulder Junction and throughout the community.

Lions Club Weekly Summer Craft & Flea Market, June-August
Head to the Boulder Junction Community Center, 5836 Park St., from 8am to 2pm every Tuesday in the summer to find a large outdoor craft and flea market, as well as food vendors. Homemade baked goods and Lions Club sliders can also be purchased on site.

Boulder Junction Block Party, June-August
Midweek magic hits different in downtown Boulder Junction. Guide on the Side free fishing seminars, Boulder Beer Bar Shrimp Boil, Boulder Junction ATV/UTV Club Cruise Night, Live Music, and Aqualand’s beer trailer–where else would you want to be?

Music on Main, June-August
For more than 15 years, the Boulder Junction Chamber of Commerce has hosted this live outdoor music series on Wednesdays throughout the summer. Musicians across a variety of genres perform from 6 to 8pm at Peeple’s Park, 10394 Main St., right next to Peeplelures. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and carry in food and drinks for the show—and be sure to stop in at downtown Boulder Junction’s shops and restaurants before the concert.

Star Spangled Jubilee, July
Boulder Junction’s annual Fourth of July celebration starts with a parade down Main Street at noon. Enjoy food at Lions Club food tent or the ATV/UTV Club tent in the afternoon, then ooh and aah at the fireworks display sponsored by the town of Boulder Junction at dusk at the Boulder Junction Airport north of downtown.

Musky Jamboree, August
This annual event started more than 65 years ago and offers three days of fun events. The festivities kick off Friday night with a street party on Main Street featuring live music. Saturday’s events include the 5K and 10K Musky Fun Run (as well as kids’ races) and a barbeque and brat sale and other activities as part of Boulder Junction Historical Society History Day. The highlight of the weekend happens on Sunday, which includes the annual Musky Jamboree Car Show, an arts & crafts show with more than 100 vendors, children’s activities (including a casting contest), food and beverages for sale, and more. Fall events

Colorama, September
Boulder Junction celebrates every fall with the Colorama Arts & Crafts Fair held at the Boulder Junction Community Center. The event, which has been going on for more than 30 years, features dozens of arts & crafts vendors at indoor and outdoor booths, live music, children’s activities, food, and craft beer. 

Hops & Shops, October
Boulder Junction’s Beer and Cider walk! Stroll through town stopping at participating businesses and sample some great beer or cider options along the way. Participants will receive a souvenir glass with ticket purchase.

Downtown Trick or Treat & Trunk or Treat, October
Dress up and bring the whole family downtown for spooky Halloween fun on Main street. Stop into participating businesses and trunk or treat along the way.

Winter events

Christmas Walk, November
Get into the holiday spirit in the Northwoods the day after Thanksgiving when Boulder Junction hosts its annual Christmas Walk  The event features a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn wagon rides, bonfires, hot cocoa, s’mores, and the town lighting ceremony. Plus, Boulder Junction’s shops are open until 8 pm. And the next day, support Boulder Junction’s restaurants and retailers by shopping local on Small Business Saturday. 

Winter Wonderland Arts & Crafts Fair, November
Squeeze in some holiday shopping before the Christmas Walk and check out one of the 20+ vendors at the Winter Wonderland Arts & Crafts Fair. Located at the Community Center from 10-3. Christmas decor, baked goods, handmade gifts, and more!
